What is ODP?

ODP is the OpenDocument presentation format, what LibreOffice Impress saves: an open standard for slide decks with the same zip-of-XML design as ODT and ODS. Sharing an .odp outside open-source circles is a gamble, since PowerPoint's import is approximate and many viewers refuse the format. A PDF of the deck shows every recipient the same slides.
