ODT is the native tongue of LibreOffice, and our server-side converter IS LibreOffice, so this is the most faithful document conversion on the site. Uploaded files are deleted within about an hour.

What is ODT?

ODT is the OpenDocument text format: the ISO-standardized, openly specified document format that LibreOffice and OpenOffice write by default. Governments and open-source-minded organizations mandate it, but plenty of recipients, upload portals and corporate Word installs handle it awkwardly. Since LibreOffice itself defines how an ODT should render, converting one to PDF through it is as faithful as it gets.
